2013 Fox Den Vineyard Pinot Noir
Aromas of blackberry and spice layered with fresh earth and a touch of vanilla. On the palate are ripe sweet berry fruit notes of strawberry, blackberry, rainier cherry and a hint of cassis.
James MacPhail's Notes
The 2013 vintage in Sonoma County is widely regarded as one of the best of the 2000s. An ideal growing season led to beautiful fruit at harvest time, and this Pinot Noir from a truly wonderful vineyard certainly lives up to the hype. Age-worthy for a decade or more, this Fox Den Pinot Noir continues to evolve in complexity and will make a powerful statement in any collection or gathering.
