Fox Den Vineyard sits on the western boundary of the Green Valley AVA in the Russian River Valley, 12 miles from the coast. Three generations of the Smith family now participate in the management of Fox Den Vineyard, producing exceptional Pinot Noir and continuing to be stewards of their 14 acres vineyard. Moderate temperatures and heavy fog bring us grapes that ultimately result in a luscious, complex, and robust Pinot Noir from this incredible site.

Tasting Notes
Aromas of strawberry compote, cherry pie, violet, lavender, and red rose petal. On the palate, flavors of raspberry, dried cranberry, wild strawberry and forest floor. This mouthwatering medium-weight wine is sweet and savory with focused acidity, and a lingering finish.
Production Notes
Grapes were hand harvested before undergoing a 30-day fermentation in French oak. To enhance flavor extraction, grapes were punched down by hand three times a day.
